Employee Benefits Overview
Luther Burbank Center for the Arts offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other available supplemental insurances. We also offer flexible time off benefits, holiday pay, and a 401(k) plan which currently includes a company match. Part-time employees may be eligible for pro-rated flexible time off and holiday pay, as well. Please note that Luther Burbank Center for the Arts reserves the sole right to modify or eliminate any employee benefits.
Medical Plans
A variety of medical plans are offered through Kaiser and Sutter Health to meet the individual needs of our staff.
Dental and Vision Plans
The Center offers a PPO Dental plan through Premier Access, and a Vision plan through Ameritas (VSP).
Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Long Term Disability and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment, long term disability and employee assistance plans are offered through Mutual of Omaha. The Center provides life insurance equal to one-time the employee’s annual salary up to $50,000. Voluntary supplemental life insurance is offered through Sun Life Financial. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers employees support for various life events or concerns and are free of charge.
Supplemental Insurances
Additional optional supplemental insurance, paid by employees, includes a variety of coverage such as accident, cancer, hospital, and life. An AFLAC Representative is available to discuss a customized plan for each staff.
401(k) Plan
The 401(k) plan offered is through John Hancock Financial Services. Currently, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts matches employee contributions up to 3% of annual income after one year of service.
