Accommodations for Patrons with Disabilities
Accessible Seating
Accessible seating for patrons with mobility limitations are located in several places on the main floor and balcony level of the Ruth Finley Person Theater. Tickets for these locations may be purchased online or by contacting the ticket office, either by phone or in person. Elevators at both the north and south provide access to additional ADA seating in the Balcony. Seating in the Balcony for Door 1 is accessible by ramp and Balcony Door 4 is accessible by Lift.
All theaters have wheelchair- and scooter-accessible locations where patrons can remain in their wheelchairs or transfer to theater seats. Patrons who cannot or do not wish to transfer from their wheelchairs to a theater seat should request wheelchair-accessible locations when ordering tickets. Select seats have a single adjustable armrest, which are available in the Ruth Finley Persons Theater.
Wheelchair accessible seating may be purchased by phone, in person, and online. If seats are ordered online, our Patron Services Office will contact you for accommodation needs, along with an additional follow up call leading up to the performance for a final confirmation. Bariatric chairs are also available in all theaters with advance notice, please contact Patron Services.
It is the patron’s responsibility to maneuver their assisted mobility device through the Center in case of an emergency. If this is not possible, the patron is required to have a companion who can assist with their needs. Staff and volunteers are not able to leave their posts and will not be available to assist patrons in moving around the campus. For assistance selecting accessible seats or for more information about accessibility for a person with a disability, please contact the Patron Services Office at 707.546.3600 or email at patronservices@lutherburbankcenter.org.
*Staff, volunteers, door attendants, and ushers are prohibited from assisting patrons in transferring to or from a wheelchair, theater seat or vehicle; operate motorized mobility aids such as scooters and Segways; or to provide personal attendant services such as assisting patrons in the restroom, with taking medications, or with similar activities.

Mobility Aids

Assisted Listening Devices (ALD) and T-Loop (Telecoil)*
Assistive listening devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. Radio Frequency (RF) assistive listening systems are installed in all theaters and headsets may be used at any seat. Devices are distributed free-of-charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Please visit the Concierge Desk located in the North Lobby to check-out an ALD or T-Loop (Telecoil)* and be prepared to provide a credit card or driver’s license, which will be held until the device is returned.
* T-Loop (Telecoil) – Headsets with induction neckloops are available for patrons who use hearing aids and cochlear implants with a “T” switch. Ask your audiologist whether your hearing aid or cochlear implant has a “T” switch (telecoil) and how to use it with an assistive listening headset.
