Breathless Sparkling Wines: Inspiring a passion for life through the arts

Breathless Sparkling Wines is a family-owned winery, inspired by a mother’s passion for life. “Locally grown” co-owners and sisters Sharon Cohn, Rebecca Faust, and Cynthia Faust honor their mother, Martha Jane, with a wine label that celebrates her ideal that each breath we take is a gift. It recalls their memory of her always looking back to make sure they were following her wisdom. In a powerful extension of this wisdom, Breathless Sparkling Wines has become LBC’s exclusive sparkling wine partner, adding Sonoma County’s home for the arts to its list of community organizations it supports for their significant impact on the community.

Guided by award-winning winemaker Penny Gadd-Coster, Breathless Sparkling Wines in Healdsburg is dedicated to making sparkling wine in the time-honored French method. By employing the méthode champenoise and using the finest select Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay grapes, Breathless creates sparkling wines that pair beautifully with all of life’s moments, from the everyday to the extraordinary.

Having grown up with two teachers as parents, the sisters share LBC’s vision that expanding the minds and hearts of children is the best investment in the future of this community. They selected LBC for the many programs it offers to expand access to arts education with free and reduced-cost programs like school matinees, summer camps, and after-school programs.

Since its inception in 2011, Breathless Sparkling Wines has been committed to supporting non-profits focused on health, education and issues affecting women and young people in the community. In addition, each month, Breathless donates a portion of sales towards a cause that benefits people in need.
