Anita Wiglesworth, 37, Director of Programming, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, Santa Rosa

Managing the Arts Center’s music, comedy, dance, theater, speakers, family performances and special events are only part of Anita Wiglesworth’s responsibilities.

She also oversees in-school artist residencies, master classes, lecture-demonstrations, pre/post performance activities and professional development programs for teachers – as well as a Music For Schools instrument lending library and campus art initiatives.

Greatest professional achievement: Growing educational and outreach activities into a nationally recognized program serving over 30,000 students and teachers through hands-on arts experiences and introductions to live performances.

Single most important recent event: Launching a successful statewide mentorship program for presenting organizations and next generation leaders in this field.

Hobbies: Sculpting, welding, kayaking, hiking, cooking and travel.

Favorite after-work drink: Champagne.
