Exploring Día de los Muertos

Students will explore the colorful celebration from Latin America, Día de los Muertos. Students will create altars, sugar skulls, and several more works or art all dedicated to this holiday while learning about culture, Spanish language, and English language arts.

Bringing artists into your classroom, each of LBC’s new arts integration residencies leads your students through six interactive sessions that combine an art form and another academic content area to delve deeper into learning.
