Play Production
Grades: 2-8
Subject: Drama
Instructor: Jenny Sargent, Helen Segal, or Ellen Vieira

Unlock your students’ creative energy through fun, active, and inclusive drama activities. This highly flexible residency uses existing stories as the basis for theatrical performances, where students step into familiar characters and develop a collaborative show. Teachers are encouraged to suggest books or other stories from their class curriculum as a source of inspiration and deeper learning. Drama games and exercises will build movement and speaking skills, while contributing towards students’ social-emotional development, camaraderie, and self-confidence. Programs can optionally culminate in a final performance or maintain focus on skill-building and open exploration.
