Finding Wisdom Through African Drumming

Subjects: Music, Social Studies, Social Emotional Learning

Grades: 6-12

Discover the transformative effect of the African drum ensemble. Students will learn basic drumming techniques, discover the historical and cultural context of the drum, and use both to enhance their group communication, improvisation, and social emotional skills.
