Make a comic, tell your story, publish your manifesto, share your passions, and do it all as a DIY champion as the author, illustrator, printer, and publisher. Yup, that’s right, it’s time to make a zine. In this residency, students will create an original zine in a style of their choosing. We will go over informational zines, fandom-inspired zines, autobiographical zines, fiction zines, and comic zines. All participants will end up with their own unique, re-printable, original zine creation.
