Understanding Neurodiversity:
Dive Deeper

In-Person at the LBC Education Studio

Following up on the “Understanding Neurodiversity” session last spring, this workshop will take a deeper look into understanding neurodiversity. In a Spring 2024 workshop, we explored the concept and prevalence of neurodiversity while giving reasons to embrace it and explored simulated activities of some more frequently diagnosed types of neurodivergence. The next session will also include simulated activities, but will move to focusing on the how. What can we do to accommodate, embrace, and include people who experience the world differently? How do we create environments that support and nourish all types of thinkers and learners? Come explore the many facets of neurodiversity and how it impacts your work. Participation in the previous session is not required.
