Scholarships

Access to the arts for everyone in our community is at the heart of our mission. We’re proud to offer the following financial assistance programs to eligible schools.

Evert Person’s ArtReach for Education Programs

Distributing more than 17,000 free and reduced-price tickets each year!

As part of our commitment to accessibility, we offer Evert Person’s ArtReach, a scholarship program for School Shows, Professional Development, and Artists in the Schools.

School Shows

Students participating in the National Lunch Program receive an automatic discount on seats to School Shows and, in addition, these groups automatically receive free tickets for teachers and chaperones (one free ticket for each 10 student tickets purchased). These ArtReach benefits can be requested directly on the School Shows order application.

Schools needing additional assistance to attend a School Show should apply for a scholarship using the button below.

Professional Development

Educators may apply for scholarships to attend our Professional Development programs.  Through our partnership with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, we focus on standards-based arts integrated lessons that teachers can take immediately back to their classrooms.

Artists in the Schools

Scholarships are available for our Artists in the Schools, where each of LBC’s arts integration residencies brings an artist into your classroom to lead your students through six interactive sessions combining an art form and another academic content area to dive deeper into learning.
