School Show: Street Beat’s Repurposed Percussion

Street Beat’s Repurposed Percussion

Grades 1-6

This drumming duo creates their instruments from reused materials, proving that music and creativity know no bounds. Street Beat returns in this high-energy explosion of urban rhythm and uplifting, inspiring performance. Students will learn the fundamentals of percussion and discover how combining low and high pitch produces more interesting music. This stage show brings the elements of music, rhythm, and academic focus together for your students while also highlighting the importance of reusing resources.

“It was inspiring, funny, and completely engaged the students.
They are wanting to experiment with sound and recycled materials.”
– 2nd grade teacher, Healdsburg Charter School
