Latin Grammy®-winning, all-female group, Flor de Toloache mixes tradition and innovation, breaking boundaries with their edgy, versatile, and fresh take on traditional Latin American music. Like the legendary love potion of Mexico’s Toloache flower, the talented New York ensemble casts a spell over its audiences with soaring vocals and physical elegance. Their diverse ethnicities and musical backgrounds transcend culture and gender by forging new paths. The group has graced international stages from Mexico to Japan and has extensively toured the USA, Europe and Latin America. With five studio albums to date, “Las Flores,” as their fans call them, recently released Motherflower, described by the artists as a mosaic of genres inspired by mariachi and with a feminist charge like never before.

Gina Chavez is a multi-ethnic, Austin native is a queer, Catholic, internationally-acclaimed Latinx pop artist who is redefining Latin music in Texas and beyond. She is a 2020 Latin Grammy® nominee for “Best Pop/Rock Album,” 12-time Austin Music Award winner, including 2019 Best Female Vocals and 2015 Austin Musician of the Year.” With more than a million views on her NPR Tiny Desk, an hour-long PBS special, and a 12-country tour through Latin America, the Middle East, and Central Asia as a cultural ambassador with the U.S. State Department, Chavez is ready for a bigger stage.
