Experience a performance unlike any other with a Manual Cinema production that takes everything usually behind-the-scenes and brings it on stage for the audience to enjoy.  In its adaptation of two Mo Willems’ books, Leonardo really is a terrible monster. That is, he tries to be scary, but he isn’t. He meets Sam, the most scaredy-cat kid in the whole world. The plot thickens when Leonardo and Sam meet Kerry—an even scaredier-cat—and her monster friend, Frankenthaler.  Manual Cinema gets you up close to these curious meetups to learn if Leonardo will finally scare someone, if Kerry and Sam remain scaredy cats, or if their differences end up shaping unlikely friendships.
