Multi instrumentalist Megan Schoenbohm, is an earthy, edgy, free-spirited songbird, who for over 10 years has captivated San Francisco Bay Area children and families through her engaging performances. She began her music career at the age of 2 years old, playing on pots and pans with wooden spoons. From a very young age, she was hooked on music, wanting to play any instrument she could get her hands on. She began playing piano by ear at the age of 3; studied drums, percussion & flute; taught herself oboe, guitar and bass; and also wrote her own songs. She graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Therapy. Her multi award-winning album, “Bubba & Boo”, debuted in June of 2018, and in September 2019, she released her 2nd album, “You Are Enough” – winner of a 2020 Parents’ Choice Award. In September 2020, Megan was honored by the Bay Area Parent “Best of the Best” Award in the categories of “Local Family Entertainment”, “Party Entertainment”, “Hidden Gem” and “Music Class”. Megan’s music is centered around kindness, compassion and celebrating diversity, and is written for not only the children in our lives, but also the children inside all of us.
