Roustabout Theater is the longest running Resident Theater Company of the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts and their award-winning Apprentice Program is one of the leading theatrical training and performance programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Check out the Apprentice Program’s alumni Barrett Riggins, Madeline Rouverol, Matt Billings and Michael Sultana for their incredible Luther Locals performance.

BARRETT RIGGINS is a Brooklyn-based actor and songwriter originally from Santa Rosa. NY credits: The Jury (Theatre Now), Summer Valley Fair (NYMF). Regional: Memphis (TUTS), All Shook Up (The MUNY), The Pin-Up Girls (Casa Mañana), Dogfight (Farmers Alley). His new musicals The Moderators and Sound Choices just premiered this year in New York and San Francisco respectively. You can stream his debut album GOOD OL’ on Spotify, Apple Music, or iTunes. MADELINE ROUVEROL is a Brooklyn-based actor and writer originally from Santa Rosa. She has workshopped and performed in new plays in New York and regionally at The Public Theater, Playwrights Horizons, the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, The Dramatists Guild, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Marin Theatre Company, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, and San Jose Stage Company. She is a collaborator with the female-led, sustainability-focused theater company Herd. Madeline has been featured in American Theatre Magazine and is a graduate of the theatre department at the University of Michigan.

MATT BILLINGS — Originally from Santa Rosa, CA, Matt graduated in May of 2019 with his BFA in musical theatre from The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in Saint Louis, Missouri where he is currently based. A few of Matt’s most recent roles include Roger in Grease, Agent Cod in Catch Me If You Can (Tent Theatre), Berowne in Love’s Labour’s Lost, and Plato/Voices in Fahrenheit 451 (Webster Conservatory).

MICHAEL SULTANA is a New York-based actor who recently completed his BFA in Acting at Boston University. A Santa Rosa native, he is thrilled to be a part of something for the cherished Luther Burbank Center! In times like these, he is particularly grateful for the artists who have dedicated so much of their time & energy toward creating work that gives us the hope, humor, and sense of common urgency to push forward.
