It was a pleasure working with Sonoma Family Meal to virtually help feed our frontline during the first year of the pandemic. Sonoma Family Meal continues their work to serve the food-insecure areas of our community. Thank you for tuning in. We hope you were inspired by these stories of compassion and resilience during those challenging times.

LBC’s Feeding our Frontline program was a “delicious” collaboration with Sonoma Family Meal (SFM), in which SFM used our kitchen while we were closed to the public. SFM helped serve approximately 10,000 meals per week to the county’s most vulnerable populations and also our neighborhood healthcare heroes at Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital.

We are thrilled that, since our collaboration in 2020, SFM opened a new headquarters and community kitchen in North Petaluma. A new 3,100-square foot multi-purpose community kitchen helps SFM tackle Sonoma County’s most urgent needs through disaster response, hunger relief, food recovery, workforce development and small business support.
