Digital Ticket Frequently Asked Questions

Digital Ticketing is a convenient and secure way to manage your LBC tickets using your mobile device. This new ticket delivery service connects you to a digital Wallet on your phone (and desktop), where you can store, access, and share your LBC tickets – as well as receive venue information, event details, and alerts – all from one place.

You can choose Digital Tickets as a delivery method even if you purchase your LBC tickets on the phone or in person. Our Box Office staff will always ask you for your preferred delivery method.

Besides reducing wait times at the event entrance, Digital Ticketing adds a layer of security against third party resellers that attempt to scam patrons. Digital tickets use dynamic QR code technology, which assigns a unique QR code to each ticket just 48 hours before showtime. The QR code then refreshes every 30 seconds, preventing counterfeit and stolen tickets. You don’t have to do anything to activate the dynamic code. Digital Ticketing takes care of that for you.

If you select “Digital Tickets” as your delivery method, shortly after your purchase – either online, in person, or on the phone – they will be available in your Digital Tickets Wallet. You will also receive an email receipt, which will include a link to access your Digital Tickets.

Tip: The first time you access your tickets on your mobile device, you will be asked if you want to save your login credentials. We recommend saving your credentials on your mobile device because you will be using it to display your LBC Digital Tickets to enter the theater.

Three easy steps:

  1. On your mobile device go to the Digital Ticketing. Click on the link or type mytickets.lutherburbankcenter.org on your mobile device.
  2. Set up your Digital Ticket account. On the Digital Ticket website, create your LBC Digital Ticket account using the same username (email) and password you used to purchase your tickets on lutherburbankcenter.org.
  3. Digital Ticket wallet. Your account on the Digital Ticket website comes with a Wallet. This is where you will find your LBC Digital Tickets stored on your mobile device.

Once you set up a Digital Ticket account, mytickets.lutherburbankcenter.org will always be your first stop whenever you choose Digital Tickets as your LBC ticket delivery method.

No, LBC Digital Tickets is a secure web-based service, not an app.

However, for your convenience, there are ways of bookmarking a website as a quick link on your phone. Instructions for this can be found by searching online for instructions for your mobile device.

We made Digital Ticketing a snap by requiring you use the same username (email address) and password for both your LBC ticket purchase account and your Digital Tickets Wallet. If you do not have an LBC username and password because you purchased your tickets over the phone or in person, you will need to create a Digital Tickets account if you select Digital Tickets as your delivery method.

View the video on this page or see “How do I set up Digital Ticketing,” above, for instructions.

No. A screenshot of your Digital Ticket will not allow you into the event.

Once a QR code is assigned to your Digital Ticket 48 hours before the event, it refreshes every 30 seconds – meaning every 30 seconds, it is a new QR code. The QR code that would appear in a screenshot will not match the QR code that appears on your Digital Ticket immediately before you enter the event.

Don’t worry. Digital Ticketing works well even in low-bandwidth situations.

Digital Ticketing adds a layer of security against third party resellers that attempt to scam our patrons. It’s called Dynamic QR code technology. Each digital ticket is automatically assigned a unique QR code just 48 hours before showtime. The QR code then refreshes every 30 seconds – meaning every 30 seconds, it is a new QR code. You don’t have to do anything for the QR code to appear on your digital tickets.

This state-of-the-art method prevents counterfeit and stolen tickets.

The QR code required for entry to the event will begin displaying on your digital tickets approximately 48 hours prior to your performance start time.

No. These are unauthorized ticket-link services that operate outside of Luther Burbank Center for the Arts and our official partner, True Tickets.

Tickets accessed through these services may involve unauthorized credential sharing and can be invalid or cancelled under our Terms & Conditions.

For your protection, only tickets accessed through our official True Tickets wallet at mytickets.lutherburbankcenter.org are guaranteed to be valid.

Your Digital Tickets Wallet is not the same as third party wallets from Apple or Google.

Digital ticketing uses a website (mytickets.lutherburbankcenter.org) that you simply open on any web browser on your mobile device (ex: Safari, Chrome, Firefox).

If you use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on your phone, your LBC Digital Tickets can be added as soon as your tickets are available in your Digital Tickets account. See “Can I store my tickets in my Apple Wallet or Google Wallet below.

Yes, you can add your LBC tickets to a third-party wallet you use on your mobile device. To transfer, simply log into your Digital Tickets at mytickets.lutherburbankcenter.org, select your performance, and scroll down to the Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet icon. Follow the steps to view your ticket(s) in your third party wallet.

*Note: Ticket(s) can only be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on a mobile device. They cannot be added to a wallet from a desktop computer.

Most Apple or Google Wallet tickets load successfully, but for some patrons, the QR code does not display. This can be caused by a variety of factors, including user or device settings, limited or slow internet connectivity, background updating processes, or other issues.

If your show starts within three hours and your Apple or Google Wallet pass does not display a QR code: please login to Digital Ticket Wallet on your mobile phone or desktop, find the event and ticket, and click “Get ticket back from Apple or Google Wallet.” You can then display the QR code in your Digital Ticket Wallet on your phone for scanning and entrance.

In just a few quick steps, you can conveniently share the tickets you purchased:

  1. Log in to your Digital Tickets Wallet.
  2. Click on the applicable performance date.
  3. Click “Share Tickets.”
  4. Follow the prompts to send the tickets using text or email.
  5. It may take up to 24 hours for the shared ticket to show up in the recipient’s Wallet.

*Please note VIP packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared.
**Do not share tickets to your own account in an attempt to add them to your Wallet. For more information, see “Can I store my tickets in my Apple Wallet on the iPhone or Google Wallet on Android?” for additional details.

Yes. To do so, please go to your Digital Tickets account on mytickets.lutherburbankcenter.org, and select “Share Tickets.” Follow the instructions to complete the process.

It may take up to 24 hours for the shared ticket to show up in the recipient’s Wallet.

Please note VIP packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared.

Shared Digital Tickets may take up to 24 hours to show up in the recipient’s Wallet.

You may share tickets from your Digital Tickets Wallet even after the show has begun. Log in to your Digital Tickets account, click on the applicable performance date, then click “Share Tickets,” and follow the prompts to send the ticket to your friend using text or email.

With some accounts, it may take up to 24 hours for the ticket to show up in the recipient’s Wallet. Your friend may visit Patron Services at the Box Office if the shared ticket is delayed.

Recipients of shared digital tickets must have an LBC Digital Tickets account to redeem them.

When you share Digital Tickets, each recipient will receive an email or text message with a link. If they already have a Digital Ticket account, the link allows them to log in and redeem their ticket.

Recipients who do not already have a Digital Ticket account will need to create one before redeeming the ticket for scanning at the event. To create an account, visit mytickets.lutherburbankcenter.org. A valid email address and password is required.

It may take up to 24 hours for the shared ticket to show up in the recipient’s Wallet.

As a convenient bonus, whenever a recipient of a shared ticket creates a Digital Ticket account, an account on the LBC website is automatically created for that person if one doesn’t already exist. Both accounts will use the same login credentials.

Please note, VIP packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared.

If you requested Digital Tickets for your Pops and/or Family Fun Series subscription tickets, you will use the same process you would for individual LBC Digital Tickets.

Access your Digital Tickets Wallet at mytickets.lutherburbankcenter.org. Use the same username (email) and password you used to purchase your tickets on the LBC website. If you do not have LBC credentials because you purchased your tickets over the phone or in person, you will need to create a Digital Tickets account. See How do I set up Digital Ticketing, above, for instructions.

If you do not have a mobile phone, you can choose a different ticket delivery option at checkout. Tickets may be mailed to you or picked up at Will Call. At checkout, select Delivery Method, Click Here To Change Your Delivery Method, and then choose Will Call or Mail.

If you can’t find your ticket, arrive without your phone, or your phone battery loses its charge, you can go to the Box Office the night of the event and change your order from Digital to a physical hard copy of the ticket. The Box Office is open 2 hours prior to showtime. We recommend charging your mobile device before your event to prevent entry delays.

Yes, we will continue to issue and accept hardcopy tickets.
