FRIDAY, MAY 6, 2022
SANTA ROSA, CA (February 1, 2022)—Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced today that chef, writer, and restaurant owner Yotam Ottolenghi will bring his revolutionary culinary wisdom to Santa Rosa on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 8 pm.
Tickets for Yotam Ottolenghi range in price from $39 to $59, with VIP tickets available for $99. Tickets are available online at lutherburbankcenter.org, by calling 707-546-3600, or at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts ticket office (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa).
One of the most innovative culinary influencers of the past decade, Ottolenghi will talk about his career, his work, and new projects, including his newest cookbook, Ottolenghi Flavor. In it, Ottolenghi teaches the three ways to create flavor with more than 100 plant-based recipes. He builds on the vegetable cooking that made his books, Plenty and Plenty More, bestsellers and reveals how to understand, build, and amplify flavor through revolutionary ideas and recipes.
Ottolenghi is widely beloved for his beautiful, inspirational, and award-winning cookbooks, which reflect his belief that food is more than what we eat; it is about commonality, an act that brings people together. This “philosopher of the kitchen” is passionate about making people happy through food that is full of harmonious contradictions. With their plain-spoken instructions and enticing photographs, Ottolenghi’s cookbooks have proven influential. His debut cookbook, Ottolenghi, co-authored with Palestinian chef Sami Tamimi, was published in 2008. Six more internationally bestselling volumes have followed. His books have sold more than 1.5 million copies in North America and five million worldwide.
