Sculpture Garden Sparkles for Winter Lights Art Walk
For the first time ever, LBC’s Sculpture Garden has been transformed for a special winter welcome to this oasis of public outdoor art in the middle of the LBC campus. Featuring a festive illumination of the current exhibit, Thousand Ways, a sculpture by David Duskin and Darling Gonzalez, dramatic lighted sculptures by student artists from Santa Rosa Junior College, and whimsical scenes bedecked in twinkle lights, NorthernLights is a fun, selfguided art walk created to bring holiday lights seekers safely out in the magic of early nightfall.
Our inaugural NorthernLights winter lights art walk opens on December 1, when patrons, neighbors and arts enthusiasts can wander the lighted paths and through the Raining Cloud Tunnel and the Singing Rainbow Tunnel, while viewing trees full of twinkling stars and a variety of magically lighted sculptures.
Sound like the perfect antidote for these dark winter evenings? Well, grab a coat, a friend, the kids and come enjoy the crisp evening air at Santa Rosa’s unique and wondrous lighted art walk. NorthernLights can be enjoyed every night from dusk until 9:30 pm until New Year’s Day, January 1, 2023.
