Special ticket-offers help broaden horizons with the Spirit of Uganda

Luther Burbank Center for the Arts hopes to bring the Spirit of Uganda to as many people as possible on Wednesday. This special concert is part of the Empower African Children Project and the performers (aged 8-18) represent their homeland’s 2.4 million orphans. The Center wants everyone to experience the troupe’s uplifting message of hope and perseverance and is offering a variety of discounts for those who may not be able to afford the cost of a ticket. Dozens of students and adults will attend for free or at discounted rates through the Center’s ArtReach program. In addition, all students with student ID may purchase tickets for just $10,  and all teachers receive a $10 discount per ticket. Please contact the box office to see if you may be eligible to attend the performance at a discounted rate. Or, if you’re able to do so, please purchase tickets at full price and know that you have helped raise funds for those displaced in Africa by AIDS, war and famine, while also helping to broaden horizons with the Spirit of Uganda in our community.
