Sponsor Spotlight: Redwood Credit Union
Giving Back Since 1950
Founded in 1950 in Sonoma County, Redwood Credit Union is a federally-insured financial cooperative that provides banking services to consumers and businesses in the North Bay and San Francisco. With over $3.4 billion in assets, RCU is one of the largest of over 6,000 credit unions nationwide. They serve over 280,000 members with 19 Bay Area locations, including four in Santa Rosa and additional locations in Sonoma, Petaluma, Windsor, Cloverdale, and Sebastopol.
Credit unions offer the same services as banks, but at an exceptional value. Redwood Credit Union provides checking and savings accounts, low-rate home loans (fixed, adjustable, jumbo, HELOCs,) credit cards, youth accounts, insurance, financial planning, business services (including commercial and SBA lending), and more. They also offer new and used auto sales through RCU Auto Services.
Redwood Credit Union is passionate about giving back to the communities they serve. Last year, they provided more than $2.8 million in community support and more than 4,100 volunteer hours to benefit nonprofits and other local organizations including the Redwood Empire Food Bank, Chop’s Teen Club, COTS, Social Advocates for Youth (SAY), Boys & Girls Club of Central Sonoma County, and others.
Redwood Credit Union is furthering their commitment to community by partnering with the Center as the presenting sponsor for the 2017 Fiesta de Independencia. With their generous support we are able to continue to strengthen and enhance our commitment to programming for the entire community.
