Shout Out to Our Volunteers and Ambassadors!

When you visit the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts—whether for a concert, a Family Fun Series show, or our Northern Lights art walk—you’re likely greeted, guided, and assisted by one of our dedicated volunteers or ambassadors. From ushers helping you find your selected seat to Ambassadors connecting with the community on our behalf, these incredible individuals quietly elevate every part of your LBC experience.
Our volunteers wear many hats and together contribute more than 300 hours each season. Front-of-house ushers greet audiences, check tickets, hand out programs, and guide patrons to their seats with a smile.
Some volunteers even help students discover the magic of live theater by ushering school performances, while others assist families in our Fun with Art projects, sparking creativity before Family Fun Series shows. Behind the scenes, administrative volunteers support essential tasks from data entry to special projects, helping the Center run smoothly every day.
Some volunteers also serve as LBC Ambassadors, taking their role a step further by connecting with the community on our behalf, spreading the joy of the arts, and helping others discover all that the Center has to offer.
We love making our volunteers feel appreciated. After all, it’s their dedication that allows us to bring world-class performances, arts education, and community programs to life. We are so grateful for the energy, time, and care these volunteers bring to The Center, making every moment at the LBC more enjoyable for you and our entire community.
