Welcome Flamingo Conference Resort & Spa!

Luther Burbank Center for the Arts is thrilled to welcome the iconic Flamingo Conference Resort & Spa as its newest Corporate Alliance Partner, joining nearly twenty other local, regional, and national businesses in supporting the Center’s Arts & Education programs through a generous annual contribution.

Long considered a Santa Rosa landmark treasure, the Flamingo (no relation to its Las Vegas namesake) has been an affordable full-service destination resort since its opening more than six decades ago. Built in 1957 by Los Angeles-based modernist architect George Vernon Russell, the Flamingo was celebrated by Hollywood elite as the place to stay north of the bay during the 1950s and 60s. The Ehret family has owned and operated the Flamingo since the late 1970s, and the City of Santa Rosa designated it a landmark in 1996, preserving its status for many decades to come.

Today, the Flamingo is Sonoma Wine Country’s best value providing a unique setting and amenities with modern-day comforts made even more distinctive by new health and fitness amenities that keep guests returning for healthy retreats. Extensive interior transformations of the lobby, guest rooms and suites, as well as recent remodels of the restaurant, bar and lounge, have all been part a $3 million upgrade project.

As a local institution, the Flamingo is committed to giving back to its community. Dan Brown, the Flamingo’s Director of Sales & Marketing, notes “The Flamingo has been part of the fabric of Santa Rosa for more than 60 years, and it is incumbent upon us to help ensure our community continues to be a vibrant place to live and visit. Supporting Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, a leading provider of arts and education experiences in Sonoma County for more than 30 years, makes perfect sense for us.”
