King Street Giants – Donor Appreciation Party

Since 2012, The King Street Giants have brought their own special version of New Orleans music to the Bay Area and beyond. Whether they’re playing in clubs or on the streets, The King Street Giants are renowned for radiating an infectious energy and always having a blast. While continuing to play the music of their heroes, they have also been writing original music to continue to evolve the idiom of Traditional New Orleans Jazz. Winners of the North Bay Bohemian’s “Best Band in Sonoma County” award in 2017, as well as Best Jazz Band in 2022 and 2014, The King Street Giants released their third studio album, Everything Must Go, in August 2020.

Luther Locals Live with Third Rail Band

Third Rail is a country, rock and Americana band, showcasing stellar three-part harmonies and musicianship. The band is comprised of Jeff Blakeslee on lead guitar and vocals, Emily Lois on rhythm guitar and vocals, Tom Minard on drums, Tim Sarter on bass, and Emily Froberg on backup bass. Local to Sonoma County, they currently play a variety of venues and events, from wineries to bars to private functions, singing a mix of current country favorites along with original tunes.

Luther Locals Live with Everything Taken

Everything Taken is a heavy rock band formed in 2022 in Santa Rosa. The sky is the limit for this new, hot, and upcoming band, with music that blends new age heavy rock with progressive and melodic styles to create their unique and original sound. Their music ranges from ‘90s to 2000s nostalgia, from heavy riffs to guitar tapping. Vocals range from gentle falsetto and heavy screams to rhythmic and melodic smooth bass.

Luther Locals Live with Frankie Bourne & The Wildcards

Frankie Bourne and the Wildcards is an original acoustic trio based out of the Northern California wine country. Rooted in classic rock and California soul, their homegrown music blends the tones of Americana with the spirit of indie rock to produce a laid-back sound that is as authentic as it is familiar. Frontman Frankie Bourne is a prolific singer-songwriter and recording and performing artist known for his rootsy, emotionally evocative songwriting and melodic harmonica playing. He recently won the North Bay Bohemian NorBay Award for “Best Singer-Songwriter of 2021.” With its soulful, stripped-down rhythm section that includes Matt Pasquale on bass and Antonio Delmonte on percussion, Frankie Bourne and the Wildcards have played the main stages at some of the most prominent festivals in Sonoma County.

Luther Locals Live with Lenkadu

Lenkadu is an avant-garde electronic music producer and a performer from the Czech Republic, now based in Forestville, CA. The axis of Lenkadu’s music is her free voice, which she uses unconventionally as an instrument with a wide emotional imprint, daring to venture into sensual animal-like darkness as well as otherworldly angelic light. Her songs are composed with the computer, live instruments, and field recordings.

Luther Locals Live with Twin Soles

Twin Soles is the musical manifestation of the union of Shawna and Cory Hervé. Opening their hearts to reveal soaring highs and painful lows in hopes of inspiring and connecting with people who believe in honest love. Inspired by many styles and eras, they are just as likely to sing Hoagy Carmichael as they are to sing Alice in Chains, all with a distinct acoustic sound and vocal blend that is their own. Their original songs about family, love, and heartbreak will give you a window into the strength and tenderness of their connection.

Luther Locals Live with Gill Brothers Band

From the idyllic peaks of Cobb Mountain, Gill Brothers Band offers a heartfelt synthesis and interpretation of American country, rock, and blues stylings. Brothers Jacob and Connor Gill share lead vocal and guitar duties to create a dialectically delicious plate of melody, groove, and storytelling. Drawing influence from ‘70s rock 'n roll, Gill Brothers Band's music strikes at the hard-rocking side of country, playing their guitars like they mean it.

Luther Locals Live with Paul Steward

A 2023 Yerba Buena Center for the Arts 100 honoree and Pomo tribal member of Elem Indian Colony, vocalist and guitarist Paul Steward is a pop blues artist from Santa Rosa. His album, World Champion, features his own newly written songs and remakes of classics in the styles of R&B, rock, blues, soul, Americana, and pop. Currently on an intermittent world tour, Paul has performed all over the USA and has played Japan, Scotland, England, Switzerland, and Italy. He's also known as the frontman of the band Twice as Good with his father Richard, famous for tunes like "Clarksdale," "Shake Your Hips," "Everything's Gonna Be All Right," and "Come and Get Your Love.”

Sabiee (pronounced sah-bee-yay) (she/her) began writing songs as a teenager on acoustic guitar. She expanded her style and sound to include layered ethereal vocals & intimate lyrics to create an authentic sound with old world vibes. Her name is an acronym for Shining, Awesome, Brilliant, Intelligent, Ever-evolving.

Luther Locals Live with Spike Sikes & His Awesome Hotcakes

Like hotcakes themselves, the music of Spike Sikes & His Awesome Hotcakes goes by many names – soul, swing, R&B, jazz, and jump. It’s a sound that’s classic and simple, but when it’s done right, it hits the spot and has you grinning from ear to ear. From the Texas blues joints to the funky halls of New Orleans, he was always studying the music, trying to find just the right recipe. It makes perfect sense that he found his bandmates in Sonoma County, a music scene that has fostered many eclectic artists for decades.
