For nearly four decades, education and engagement have been central to our mission. We continue to strive to enrich the lives of the students and teachers in our schools and our community members in their homes and neighborhoods. From school shows, arts education, and professional development for teachers to live family performances, after-school and evening programs, and festivals, LBC presents a variety of experiences that are guaranteed to enrich, educate, and entertain our entire community.

Our Education & Community Engagement programs serves to deepen the educational experiences of our school partners through a broad range of learning opportunities. From hands-on learning for our students to professional development for our teachers, LBC presents research-based programs that highlight arts integration, standards-based arts curriculum, and experiences with professional artists. At LBC, we believe the arts are a dynamic tool for teaching and learning in all core subjects and a highly effective method for making learning engaging, impactful, and fun.

ENGAGEMENT THROUGH THE ARTS
With the goal of enriching, educating and entertaining our whole community, our Education and Community Engagement programs extend beyond our work with schools to reach audiences of all ages. From our annual Posada Navideña and Fiesta de Independencia celebrations to our master classes and pre- and post-discussions with world-class touring artists, we offer experiences that truly engage everyone.
